Free Audio books & E-Books
Whiting Library subscribes to ListenUp so any patron can use their library card from home to access thousands of books and ebooks – free!
What we do not own the library may request from other Vermont libraries.
We obtain the items for you, with check-out and check-in at the Whiting Library.
No need to travel or pay a non-resident fee at another library.
The community room is available for meetings on a first-come basis. See library staff for details.
The Whiting Library book group meets each second Wednesday of the month at 3:00.
Craft and a Story is offered weekly. Special programs are also offered throughout the year including “Tales to Tails” and after-school movies. Exciting summer events are offered with the state-wide theme.

Vermont Department of Libraries
in partnership with Whiting Library offers over twenty helpful databases. These include business, medical and genealogical resources, gardening, education, environmental issues, history, and science. Also included is Heritage Quest for genealogists. Access is free for patrons.

The Vermont Department of Libraries offers free services to those individuals with disabilities and in need of special materials to continue their enjoyment of literature. See librarian for forms and information.
Please help support the library by visiting our on-going book sale. There are many just-like-new books, some are well-loved and recycled.
The Whiting Library is able to provide passes for free or discounted access to Vermont historical sites, parks and museums.
