Become a Patron
Library cards for Whiting Library are free to all residents of the towns of Chester and Andover, Vermont.
Non-residents may obtain a card at the Whiting Library by paying an annual fee of $15.00. You can pay through cash, check, or PayPal.
We will need the following information to sign you up for a library card:
- Full Name:
- Home Address:
- Phone Number (home and cell, or whichever we are likely to reach you at):
- Email Address:
- Would you like to sign up for the Whiting Library monthly e-newsletter?:
- Youth services e-newsletter?:
- We will also need proof of residency in Chester/Andover. This could be your driver’s license or mail with your current address.
You can come to the library and complete an application card in person during library hours Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring your proof of residency with you when you come.Â
If you want to sign up for a library card online, email AssistantLibrarian@WhitingLibrary.org the above information and include a picture or scan of your proof of residency document. We will enter you into our library system. We will email you your library card number for our online digital resources. You can come to the library to sign your application and pick up your card.
