To go along with our collection of donations for the Springfield Humane Society \nThe Arts and Crafts Club is a monthly meet up for children of all ages to get together to create\, share\, and hang out. Sign up to be in the Arts & Craft Club and each first Wednesday of the month come pick up a take-and-make craft bag at the Whiting Library. You will receive directions\, templates\, and supplies to make fun and interesting craft projects at home. Best of all\, on the last Wednesday of the month at 1pm\, come to The Art and Craft Club Zoom Meetup to show and tell all about your crafting creations! \nSign each child up for the Arts & Crafts Club here. \nHere is the link to join the Art & Craft Club Zoom meeting on the last Wednesday of each month. SUMMARY:Donate to the Springfield Humane Society
DESCRIPTION:The Whiting Library is encouraging animal lovers to share the gift of giving from December 1st to December 31st by donating supplies to give to homeless animals at the Springfield Humane Society. \nNewton’s Laws of Motion are three physical laws that\, together\, lay the foundation for classical mechanics. They describe the relationship between a body and the forces acting upon it\, and its motion in response to those forces. \nIt is in this spirit\, Whiting Library is declaring December “Whiting’s Paws of Motion” month. Whiting’s Paws in Motion encourages animal lovers to get into the motion of sharing by donating to the Springfield Humane Society (SHS) from December 1st to December 31st. During this festive season\, let’s see how our actions to help animal can be a force for good in the world. \nThe campaign goal of “Whiting’s Paws of Motion” is stocking the Springfield Humane Society with much-needed supplies. Our four-legged friends need to feel loved during the holidays just like we do! Everyone who donates will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket of amazing artisan goods! \nPlease drop off donated items in the box in the Front Porch Pick Up foyer during regular hours and put your name into a drawing to win the amazing raffle! \nHere is the Wishlist for specific items SHS needs:\n\nPaper towels\nBleach\nDry cat food\nDisinfectant wipes\nDisinfectant spray\nHand sanitizer\nDog and cat toys\nDog chew toys / chewy bones\nCat nip kitty treats\nPeanut Butter\nCash donations are accepted via https://www.spfldhumane.org/donate
