SUMMARY:Golden Dome Award Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Whether your child’s a bookworm or a struggling reader\, sharing a book with others is way more fun than reading solo. Each week\, students in grades 4-8 are invited to discuss a book from this year’s Vermont Golden Dome Book Award List. Participants may tell the group about any Golden Dome Books they’ve been reading and enjoy a read aloud of a book selected by the group. Students will keep a log of their reading & vote for their favorite book to win the Vermont Golden Dome Book Award in April. This year will be an opportunity to build our discussion skills and to share our experiences of these terrific books.
