Celebrate the cozy season at Whiting Library with a special winter-themed Fun & Games Club for school-aged kids!
Practice the simple art of making beautiful 3D paper snowflakes to brighten the oncoming darkest days of winter. Kids will also create their own festive ornaments using cardboard, felt, ribbons, jingle bells, sparkles, glue, and other creative materials.
Along with hands-on crafting, we’ll feature special winter books, seasonal snacks, and a warm, welcoming space to create, relax, and have fun together.
Join us for an afternoon full of creativity, imagination, and winter cheer!
Fun & Games Club
Looking for something fun to do after school? Join us at Whiting Library for Fun & Games Club, a relaxed, creative space where school-aged kids can play, create, explore, and connect.
Each session is a little different! We might play board games, try Wii bowling or tennis, create art, build something imaginative, talk about a great book, or discover a brand-new activity together. Kids are encouraged to help shape the experience by sharing ideas and interests along the way.
Fun & Games Club is all about playful learning, creativity, curiosity, and having fun in a welcoming library space. Come see what we’ll get into next! For more information contact Carrie King, youthlibrarian@whitinglibrary.org or call 802-875-2277.
