Whiting Library invites you to “Color Our World” with summer reading, special programs, and activities for the entire family. This year’s theme celebrates creativity in all forms, from visual arts to music and performance.

Beginning June 28, register at the library or online. This year’s Summer Reading program is for all ages–from babies to preschool to grade 12 to adults. Kids have various trackers they can choose from to keep track of reading. Adults and teens can use a bingo sheet this summer when the completed sheet is turned in to the Whiting Library. Yes, even adults receive a summer reading prize, just like the kids!

In addition to this summer’s reading challenge, Whiting Library has exciting programs and special events for all ages. New programs have been added to this summer’s schedule, and some familiar favorites return with special twists on the “Color Our World” theme. Visit our online calendar to see all of our summer events and programs.

One very special “Color Our World” activity is a Tiny Art Show. Everyone is encouraged to register now to participate and showcase their art!
