February is National Library Lovers Month and the Whiting Library is sharing lots of love and kindness. A donation to the Whiting Library will give you a heart to hang in the Library Lovers exhibit and a chance to share why you love your local library, books, and community.

To reflect the love back to the community, the library is offering library amnesty to all patrons past and present. Any past dues and fees are gone! If you haven’t been into the library in a few years, we would love for you to return and enjoy all the joys of being a library patron. The library went fine free in 2022 and we want to extend that to the past to offer a clean slate to any who need it.

Here in Vermont, we LOVE our libraries. Libraries play a vital role in ensuring all residents have equal access to information. Libraries are meeting places, community centers, and resources for everyone. During our busy everyday lives, we don’t always get a chance to let our library know how much we care about it.

In recognition of Library Lover’s Month, residents from Chester and Andover are invited to show Whiting Library some love. Here, you’ll find a mailbox for your Library Love Letters! Tell Whiting library all the reasons it stacks high in your book. This love letter is long overdue.
