Whiting Library Community Survey is Open!

We want your opinions! You can take the community survey by clicking right here!

Whiting Library is creating a new strategic plan. This means we are working to develop the services and programs that fit the needs of the community going forward. Answering this survey will help us understand the values you hold for the community. This is your library and we are dedicated to making it the best resource we can for you.

Each person in your household is invited to fill out the survey, just as each person in your household is welcome to get their own individual library card. You should have received a physical copy of the survey in the mail. If you need another physical copy of the survey, you can download and print a survey by clicking right here. You can also swing by the library and pick up a printed copy.

How to participate? There are many ways!

Paper format: You can fill out the printed survey and bring it to the library. We will have a drop box inside or you can hand it to a library staff person. If you come by when the library is closed, leave your survey in the book return box on the front porch. You can also mail your completed survey to Whiting Library, PO Box 68, Chester, VT 05143.
Online format: You can fill out the library survey online using this link: https://tinyurl.com/c3ftc5e5 We have computers and internet at the library for your use if you need technology assistance to fill the survey out online.
Phone or in-person: You can call the library at 875-2277 or come in and we can read the survey questions to you and fill in your answers.
We want to make the survey accessible to everyone, so if there is another way for us to help you fill out the survey, just let us know.

Why take the time to share your thoughts with us?
Filling out the survey can enter you to win a raffle prize of a Yeti Tundra 45 Cooler! The cooler is white, and measures 16 1/8” × 15 3/8” × 25 3/4”. You will need to provide your contact details on the survey if you wish to win the cooler, remember one entry per person. And, of course, you also get the pleasure of contributing to the vitality of your community, helping to create a healthy, connected, entertaining, and fun place to live. We will be deeply grateful!
